Our Man of Courage
The one who sacrificed his own life for the sake of his country. José Protasio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda born on June 19, 1861 in the Calamba, he was a Filipino nationalist, writer and polymath active at the end of the spanish colonial period of the Philippines his political writings that inspired the Philippine revolution and ultimately led to his execution by the Spanish colonizers and also considered as the national hero of the philippines.
Jose Rizal is a great man who died for his country. He died to give a freedom of his people and he uses his writing skills to fight them. He wrote books and articles and also the one who made the novel Noli Me Tangere mean don’t touch me, this novel was also the one who helped his people to free them and followed the El Filibusterismo mean the reign of greed that exposed the abuses and injustices committed by the Spanish colonial government and the clergy.
The greatest contribution of Jose Rizal wash when he faced those who threatened his people and battled them with no fear. Because of him our life must have been a worst until now but because of him the changes that the filipino want was fulfilled thanks to Jose Rizal.
As one of the filipino, I admire his bravery, his knowledge, skills, talent and especially his writings. He became a good example of a hero and showed people of being brave instead of being fear. He showed respect to his country and a lot of people sees him as a great man that needs to be respect.
